2014 Chevrolet Sonic LT at ‘The Fuge’ I picked up my 2014 Sonic LT, 1.8 L, Automatic on Tuesday 10/14/13 at Lafferty Chevrolet, Warminster, Pa. I had ordered it right after Labor Day, so it took 6 weeks to be delivered. I parked in front of the old Centrifuge Building at the Johnsville Naval Air Development Center, Warminster, Pa. So it was, in August of 1959 that the Mercury Seven Astronauts came to Johnsville to begin their training in the called "dreaded" Johnsville Centrifuge. The base was closed in the 1990’s and most of its operations were transferred to Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.

My 2014 Chevrolet Sonic LT, at the closed NADC Warminister, Pennsylvania. The aircraft antenna testing buildings are now used by Penn State Univ. There have been no problems with the Sonic in the 1st year. After a few hundred miles the automatic transmission, electric power steering are very smooth. I change the engine oil/filter myself, 10mm socket for the oil drain plug and a 24mm 6pt socket w/short 5" handle ratchet for the filter. The oil filter has been clean, a few pieces of gasket material on it. I use Mobil-1 Gold Cap, 5W-30 4 qts, 5W-20 1 qt.
