I need to know if anyone knows if all 2.2 cavalier enginesare the same bolt up from tranny to block and motor mount wise ect. EXAMPLE: from early 1990's to around 1996 or 1997 all cavaliers had 2.2 well they look a little different like intake locations and small things like that but i am interested in bolt up ect. the reason i ask this is because if it will fit i would put say a 95 or 96 motor in my 93 insread of buying an older model engine such as a 92 or 93. If you are going to change out the motor see if you can get the 3.1L to fit in the car. I had a 5 spd manual 3.1L and it was as quick as a stock mustang GT off the line. I LOVED driving that car. Just my opinion.
