Default lighting electrical issue

im currently working on a 2005 4.8 L gas g-van and for some reason blinkers and hazard lights will not work with headlights on, but the work fine with the headlights off. ive already checked the flasher relay all lighting fuses and relays, swaped out the head light swith and swaped out the turn siglnal/hazard switch.

Has there been any work done to the wiring on this van or is it 100% stock?

Have the same issue. The solution I was told was to replace the two rear harnesses to the tail lights. I ordered them(about $30.00 a piece) and should get them in this week.
I'll let you know if it works out.

I trouble shot the rear lights and found slight corrosion on the ground(black wire) to the stop light. There is also a "pulling" on the wires when you lock the holder into the bracket holder.
Just to test the wire prior to disassembly, gently push and pull the wire with the headlights on and the brakes pressed. If the brake lights come on, proceed with the following.
To get the stop lights to work with the headlights on:
I removed the socket from the holder and removed the black tape.
Remove the clip(mine was blue) holding the 3 wires in the lamp socket.
Gently remove the black ground wire from the socket.
-The terminal has a "V" shaped end on it.
Sand the terminal (open end "V" side)
Gently open the "V" a bit.
Put dielectric grease on the "V" and reinsert it into the socket housing.
-Look into the housing before you put it in as there is a specific orientation that needs to be used. There are side wings that need to go into a holder at the bottom. The pink gasket will seat into the top of the housing if the terminal is in correctly and the blue clip will easily pop back into place.
Test the lights before you put them back into the light housing. If it works, retape the housing and wires as before.
Reassemble and test again. My mechanic wanted $300.00 to repair this using GM's OEM @ $100.00 a harness.
After market harnesses can be had for $35.00.
Replacement sockets with tails you can splice in for $6.00 a piece.
