Default Instrument Panel lighting issue 2001 suburbn

My instrument panel and radio wont light up. If I turn up the dial to manually turn on the interior lights, they turn on, but if I turn that back down and just try to light it up with the headlights on, i get nothing. Obviously, the bulbs are fine, and I have checked all the fuses. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum
check all fuses, there can be multiple fuses for some options... then check the connections at the dimmer switch and or the switch itself...

Hello my sub brother..., this issue sounds all to familiar to me... I have an 01, and (had) the same problem... What worked for me was a simple and Inexpensive fix... Simply change the part where you turn on the lights... (can't remember the name of the part), but if you change that it should solve your problem... At least it did for me and my subby... I hope this will help you...
