2004 Impala electrical problem
I have a 2004 Impala 3.4 engine and every now and then the battery is dead. This morning when I put the charger on it, there was a clicking noise from the under hood fuse box.
I pulled relays and fuses and the clicking noise stopped when I pulled the fan fuse but there was still some clicking so I continued pulling fuses. When I pulled the RTIP fuse the noice finally stopped.
I have no idea what RTIP stands for??? Also wondered if anyone has had this problem and what the cure is?
Thanks in advance
John

Welcome to the forum....
I would see what has stopped working with that fuse pulled as they may lead you in the direction of the fault... I would continue to pull fuses until you can isolate the circuit...
Make sure all vanity lamps are out, under hood and trunk lights are not staying on (if you have all of those items, and don't close yourself in the trunk to check that one )
I have no idea what RTIP is
Radio Trip, Instrument Panel maybe?
