Default considering a high-mileage '12 LTZ

Hi, I have come across what I think is a good deal on a 2012 LTZ. The catch is that the car has 140k miles. It was a company car driven between locations in Ohio and Tennessee. The contract mechanic who maintained it monthly bought it when the company retired it and is now selling it. Apparently this is something he does often to earn a little extra money. He explained that the car was serviced according to the maintenance schedule.

I think i'll have my mechanic check it out. I think this is an opportunity for a good value for my family. After all, most of the seats in the car have never been sat in. The price is under $10k, which is my budget.

I'm wondering if there are any specific issues I should be on the lookout for?

General advice for buying a high mileage late model chevy?

140k and just under 10k? Shouldn't it be A LOT cheaper than that?

Isn't that some mountain driving there in TN?
