2001 impala ignition
I have a 2001 impala, the key will not start the car, will go in but will not turn, tried a new key with same results. wife says it happened one other time but worked after a couple tries. thanks

You might try, turning the steering-wheel back and forth. On some system, you can't turn the key unless the steering wheel lock mechanism is engaged.
