Default bulbs

My bulbs are standard, I don't think the LL will help the high resistance contacts, but will help the filaments.
The bulbs are the least of my worries, 42 K miles, replaced rack, passenger side rear spring and driver side axle seal, worst car I have ever owned. It won't cost that much but I have better things to do with my time than working on the Malibu.

I wonder if there is a lamp that would fit with lower rating for DRL?

Would be some thing to look for, if you could find lower wattage that would fit. The problem is the bulbs have to be minimum wattage for to be DOT approved.
GM cares little about us, they went to series high beam DRL with the 06 and on, like my truck.
I found a site yesterday that was selling the light assy for right side only, for $89, great deal if you needed one.
