Default wiper motor possest

my dad's 03 s10 wipers work sometimes then they go crazy, then they slow down and stop then take off again. moving the inside switch doesn't help. i was thinking of going to the local catholic church to get a priest with some holy water or at least throw a ford emblem on it. or i could take the wiper motor out and try to fix the module. does anyone know where i can get a wiring diagram for the wipers?

Check your wiper motor relay.

Chevy wiper motors of that period and going back to the late 90's are notorious for acting up for no apparent reason

The problem has been commonly attributed to cold solder joints on the electronic board that is part of the wiper motor

The housing is easily removed while leaving the motor in it's location in most older vehicles that have the motor mounted on the firewall
I think on the 2003 you might have to remove the entire motor
A decent solder iron will fix the solder joints easily

The tube is full of videos on this topic

Cheers ..... Vin

i took the motor out and redid the soldering joints now i just won't shut off. it looks like the pulse board was changed once but they are about 25 bucks and easy enough to put in. where is the wiper relay.
