Default trailer wiring

have a 97 blazer. it has 7 pole wire harness. the harness runs from the back up to the front by the brake fluid res. what do you hook the electric brake wire to? thanks 4 the help

u will have to hardwire it to the cold side of the brake light switch .,so when you press the brake peddel it make's the wire hot .

old dog where is the cold side of the brake light switch at? I don't nessaralyneed an electric brake controller do i? i know some people use electric brakes w/o brake controller.

there is no way to use electric brake's on a trailer with out a brake control .if you have a trailer that is generally 3500 lb or heaver ,buy law it must have brakes.and there buy you have to have some way to apply them .the only way to not have a controller and use the trailer brake's is to have hydraulic surge brake's on the trailer .
