I recently purchased a 1998 S-10 extended cab with 61.000 miles on it; I'm pleased with the vehicle except for a really obnoxious rattle in the drivers door. Is this a common problem. Is there by any chance a quick fix for this.
Thank you in advance for your help

Its more than likely a broken hinge pin bushing. You can buy the replacement pin and bushing kit for like 10 bucks at most auto parts stores. Its no easy process to get the bushings back in without breaking them.
