Hi everyone,

We have a Silverado 2500HD that we use in the jungle, the gasoline here is really nasty and the filter inside the pump plugs up really quick. It's a pain to take out the pump and the filter to clean it, expensive to replace.
We had the same problem with Tacomas, they have the same setup, we bought some URD 2005+ Tacoma V6, Fuel Pump/Filter Upgrade Kit from Underdog and it works great. The filter is outside the gas tank, and it's a simple Napa fuel filter.
Is there anything like this available for our Chevy? I would really appreciate the help!

I am not trying to be a wiseacre, but I think that you might consider
straining the gas before you put in the tank. Rig up some kind of system that would allow you to remove the bad stuff before putting in the vehicle.

Putting an inline filter on the truck after removing the filter in the gas tank might shorten the life of the fuel pump.

Really? As I said, I work in the jungle. If I had better fuel, would I post this?

to answer your question no I havent heard of an actual kit offered but I do agree it would be wise to try and rig up a filtration system before the pump
