Default Dual Climate A/C Problem

05 Tahoe, passenger side blows warm air regardless of temperature setting. This only happens occasionally and the drivers side works fine, even seems to be colder when the passenger side is blowing warm air. As a start I called dealers and was toldit is probably an actuator in the dash, between $600-$800 for all the labor to remove the dash to get to the $50 part.

Anyone else with this problem, or any ideas.

thanks

Default RE: Dual Climate A/C Problem

My 04 Tahoe with 63,000 miles had the same problem. Paid the dealer almost $800 two days ago to fix. They replaced right side temp door actuator and reprogrammed HVAC control with new calibration updates. Now the driver's side is blowing hot air.
