On August 4, the event will pay tribute to our military veterans and first responders at the “Blackout” showcase. The star of the showcase is a military-themed custom 1999 Freightliner Classic truck called “Blackout,” which is adorned with flags and graphics that offer a somber reminder to those who gave all for the U.S.A. In addition, the Carlisle Truck Nationals this year welcomes the “Wall of Honor,” a showcase of fallen service members from the Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey) as well as Washington D.C.
