Best Hits of the 1970s: Our Favorite Two Toned Square Body Trucks
We love these 1970s two tone pickups that epitomize some of the coolest Chevys ever built.
When we think of a classic Chevy truck, we picture a two tone square body pickup from the 1970s. Chevy’s second- and third-generation of C/K trucks dominated the roads, and they remain enduring classics today. The square body aesthetic was big, bold, and tough. And the trucks backed that up with performance.
So, we decided we just wanted to see a nice big ol’ array of tone tone square body Chevy trucks that are especially special. We found this fleet over at Barrett-Jackson, and these greatest hits of the seventies are all on the docket for their upcoming Scottsdale, AZ auction (Jan. 11 – 19).
1971 Chevy C10 Pickup
You can’t go wrong with a red and black combo, and this truck shows how cool a Pull-Me-Over Red and Vivid Black look together. This classic C10 has one the best custom interiors we’ve seen in a restomod.
That distressed custom leather is sharp, and we love the cupholders!
It also rocks a Chevrolet 350 ci V8 engine paired to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission with a 12-bolt rear end. It has a Belltech suspension and lowering kit, and other updates.
Wrap it up, we’ll take it.
