After making the difficult to decision to sell their old Blazer, Mike (A.K.A. “Black’95“) and his wife decided to buy a 2001 Chevy Express. Being retired, the two had converted their old Blazer into a camper so that they could enjoy it while on the road and camping.

This plan stayed the same for the new van that they picked up, and Mike has been working hard on getting it to a place where it can be comfortable used in such a way, and he’s been met with a lot of success so far!

As of now, the van has a bed frame with an abundance of storage underneath, a kitchen unit with a sink, many handy places for extra storage, a back-up camera, and much more. He has added an additional cargo box to the rear hitch, bolted on some nice pockets to the door panels, and added a pull-out table to the bed frame.

He has also added more cup holders, better lighting, and other convenient features to make his ride better for driving and living!

We’d say that Mike has done a wonderful job building his van up into a magnificent camper, while still staying beautifully true to its Chevy roots! After all, there are so many uses for the strong and reliable vans! Go check out his build thread and show your support!
