Chevy Camaro Reveal

If you’re a Chevrolet fan, you’ve probably been holding your breath for this one for a while.

The anticipation for the launch of the all-new 2016 Camaro is all the buzz and Chevrolet Forum has just touched down in Detroit to cover everything leading up to the official unveiling of the model this weekend.

There will be a parade around the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix course with more than 350 Camaro owners and enthusiasts from 35 states and Canada, hot laps in the Z/28, and a tour of the Camaro Museum featuring some of the most iconic models in history.

According to Chevy, they currently have more than 2,400 Camaro enthusiasts on the waiting list for the event.

“The response really speaks to the passion owners have for Camaro,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager. “I wish we could accommodate more people on Belle Isle, but we are limited by space for the reveal itself. For those fans on the wait list, Chevrolet will send them an exclusive sneak-preview of the new Camaro just before the rest of the world sees it at the reveal.”

The true climax for those of us here at Chevrolet Forum, however, will come Sunday when we have an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the highly-anticipated new Chevy as it races to stake its own claim in the history books.

Stay tuned for photos, interviews, opinions and just about any and everything else we can gather on the new 2016 Camaro.
