Chevy Blazer EV Nabs 2024 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX Award
Out of 25 vehicles evaluated, the Chevy Blazer EV was one of 10 to make the cut thanks to its innovative, stylish, and tech-laden cabin.
Though demand for all-electric vehicles isn’t growing at quite the same torrid pace as before, there are still some compelling choices out there – many now being slapped with incentives that make them more attractive buys, too. GM has quite a few to choose from, in fact, including the Chevy Blazer EV, a stylish crossover that pairs its good looks with a spacious interior, loads of tech, and solid range and performance figures. Now, the Chevy Blazer EV has received a pretty prestigious award, too.
That award is being one of very few vehicles that landed on the latest version of the Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list, which honors the very best in the industry when it comes to their interior design and user experience. Each year, WardsAuto evaluates every vehicle on the market with a new or heavily-revised cabin and technology, taking into account a variety of metrics including aesthetics, comfort, materials, fit-and-finish, connectivity, and infotainment before making its final selections for the best of the best in that regard. This year, there were 25 total vehicles evaluated for the Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list in total.
The Chevy Blazer EV impressed WardsAuto judges in a variety of ways, including with its innovative design, as well as its abundance of tech – centered around the large 17.7-inch infotainment screen and 11-inch-diagonal color Driver Information Center. “The Blazer EV’s main display screen rivals those in luxury brand models with its great resolution and clarity. Its cabin is packed with lots of unique trim and design elements, surrounded by stunning color schemes,” said Wards judge Christie Schweinsberg.
“Eye-popping red accents and oh-so-sporty radial air vents are just the starting points for the Blazer EV, which features lightning-quick Google-based voice controls backed by a bevy of proper knobs and switches to manage the most-used functions,” added fellow judge Bob Gritzinger.
“We are honored to see the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV recognized for this award,” said Phil Zak, executive design director, Chevrolet. “Our designers worked hard to elevate the exterior and interior design of the Blazer EV but maintain its true functionality. This award shows we are offering a great experience to our customers.”
