Nitto’s seventh annual Auto Enthusiast Day just wrapped up, and that’s where we spotted some awesome Chevy builds.

The scene at Nitto’s 2019 Auto Enthusiast Day couldn’t have been much more perfect. Hundreds of amazing rides, thousands of gawking spectators, and plenty of cool demos lined the parking lot of Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. About the only thing that could have made this day better was a little sunshine, but that wasn’t quite in the cards. Regardless, Chevrolet Forum was present for all the fun, and coming across these two killer Chevy Silverados made it totally worthwhile.

Both of these custom Chevy pickups were interesting because they also represent a pretty stark contrast. Sure, both of them featured massive lifts with aftermarket wheels and beefy off-road rubber. But on one side, we’ve got an otherwise mostly stock truck laden with chrome. Meanwhile, the other Chevy was completely blacked-out, save for some gold wheels and accents. But truthfully, we loved them both, and it’s really hard to pick a winner. So we’ll just call it a tie.

This year marked the 7th annual installment of Nitto’s signature event. And unlike many other shows and meets, this one lasts a grand total of one day. That day, or seven hours to be exact, couldn’t possibly be more action packed, however. Aside from an awesome vendor midway and the obvious car show, there was plenty more entertainment to soak in.

Auto Enthusiast Day is also packed with raffles and prizes of all different kinds. And then there’s our personal favorite – the drifting and off-road demonstrations. Attendees were even able to ride along, which is always a plus. Neither of these pretty Chevy pickups were there to participate in those shenanigans, but there was plenty of other cool machinery to gawk over.

As always, this year’s Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day was an action-packed event that any auto fan would enjoy. So if that sounds like your cup of tea, be sure head over here to stay tuned for next year’s location/date announcement!
