Hennessey Creates the ‘Goliath 6×6’ as Feral Off-Road Silverado Beast
Hefty Goliath truck is a custom six-wheel drive brute, with an equally hefty price tag.
Hennessey Performance is a bit like the Dr. Frankenstein of the automotive and tuning world. They have been taking trucks and cars and turn them into asphalt melting monsters. Their latest creation is the aptly named “Goliath 6×6,” built from a 2019/2020 Chevrolet Silverado truck. And it is as crazy as it is badass.
“We are very excited to offer our new Goliath 6×6 alongside our VeliciRaptor 6×6 truck,” says company founder & CEO, John Hennessey. “These are very exclusive and unique vehicles that make a huge statement anywhere our clients go–whether its Rodeo drive or the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert.”
The Goliath 6×6 takes the Silverado’s off-road chops and amplifies it to insane heights.
Modifications and upgrades are extensive from the stock Silverado. The Hennessey Goliath 6×6 has a 6×6 Conversion with additional axle, wheels, tires and brakes. It has an all-new rear suspension system, and gets a taste of the air up there from an 8-inch lift.
It rides on Hennessey 20-inch wheels and BFG 37-inch off-road tires. Adding to its off-road capabilities and overall rough and ready look is an updated rollbar, LED lights, custom front and rear bumper, and a custom truck bed.
Of course, a Hennessey truck is going to have major performance upgrades under the hood. The Goliath bumps up the 6.2-liter V8 to a 456 horsepower upgrade, by way of a cold air intake and stainless steel exhaust upgrade.
It’s huge and jaw-dropping, but what is it like on the road? Check out the video and watch this incredible hulking rig go.
If you are interested, you might want to sit down when we tell you the price: $375,000. Hennessey will only be producing 24 units of the Goliath 6×6. And one lucky spud farmer has already grabbed one.
“Our first Goliath 6×6 is owned by auto enthusiast Bob Berard, owner of the largest potato farm in the state of Wisconsin,” said Hennessey. “We are so excited for Bob and greatly appreciate having him as our first Goliath owner.” Lucky guy, however we highly doubt Berard will be using this on the farm as a working truck.
The Goliath 6×6 is available through Hennessey and select Chevrolet dealers.
