How Sweet it is: Clean 1975 Chevy is Pickup Perfection

Looking at this big blue ox, we remember how the 1970s were a very good time for square bodied perfection.

1975 had its share of missteps. Plaid bell bottoms. Inflation. The Captain and Tennille. But it also brought us some awesome things. Mohammad Ali at “The Thrilla’ in Manilla.” Jaws.  Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run.’ And a fleet of amazing pickups.

We spotted this outstanding 1975 Chevrolet Silverado pickup on the Chevy Trucks subreddit. The owner, Unhall0wed Viking didn’t give us a lot of information, except that it is his “1975 Chevy.” A man of few words.

Clearly, the truck has been immaculately maintained. We love the slight lift, perfectly beefy tires, and the blue is simply razor sharp.

The reactions were exactly what we’d expect after seeing his sweet ride. Awe, appreciation, and envy. But one comment summed it up perfectly for us: “This is it…right here. This is the perfect one. This is what I see when I close my eyes and imagine my best version of this body style.”

So when you picture your favorite Chevy truck, what style do you imagine? Let us know in the comments, or head over to the forums!
