NFL Players Show Up to Training Camp and Show Off Their Rides
From trucks, to scooters, and even helicopters, the athletes came ready to strut their stuff.
It doesn’t seem possible that football season is almost upon us. However, across the U.S. this week, NFL players showed up to training camp to get ready for the upcoming season. But these players turned the camp parking lot into a showroom for their amazing rides. These athletes didn’t just show up for training, they were showing off some fairly amazing automotive dominance.
Cam Newton, quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, brought his badass custom 2012 Chevy Silverado. If that wasn’t cool enough, he also brought an electric scooter. According to The Daily Mail, Newton will use the scooter to get around at camp.
Newton’s custom Silverado is named “War Eagle.” It has been lifted, and sits on 30-inch tires. Hey, he’s a big dude who needs a big ride. The truck has many modifications including a custom audio system, custom lighting, and oh-so-cool flat blue paint job.
Ty Montgomery of the Green Bay Packers also brought some heat with his bright yellow, three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot.

Also impressive is this BMW i8 driven by Los Angeles Rams player Brendin Cooks. That is one sweet ride.
Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to shock and awe the crowd by showing up in a helicopter. Very James Bond. Yeah, it’s hard to beat a helicopter.
Brown’s teammate Vince Williams went in a decidedly different direction. Instead of showing off his ride, he showed off his dedication to wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Williams showed up in wearing an Austin-style leather vest and holding a WWE wrestling belt. Huh. We think we’ll stick to the Silverado.
Hopefully all this bravado will translate to the field this upcoming season. Go Bills!
