“Lightly loaded, my 2017 3500 Chevy Express gets a good bit of bounce and wallow also. With or without my 25 foot travel trailer. I’m not loving the ride. If you change anything and it helps please keep us posted.”

In the end, it looks like the OP is going to take that advice.

“I’ll probably have to change shocks, since the dealer thinks they are OK and functioning normally. That’s a disappointment. But besides the transmission shift points being too high, I like the vehicle.”
