Rubbing sound when turning
2021 Suburban RST Diesel
The vehicle makes a rubbing noise when turning the wheel. The tires are not rubbing. The dealership has stated that the power steering lines are getting pressed, and GM has no fix. Also, ball joints are rubbing but waiting for new ones to be invented out of a different type of metal. Anyone with this same issue?

Anna - was the dealership helpful? Mine wasn't. Claimed they couldn't hear the sound/get it to replicate. Mine is most obvious when the truck is cold in the morning. After driving a while the issue goes away. Frustrating and makes me concerned for possible long term issues.

I have a 2021 suburban rst same issue rubbing sound when turning worse when car is first started, brought it to the dealer they replaced rear diff fluid and also change transfer case fluid it’s not fixed.
I have had mine back twice now. Next step they say is to replace the rear differential. Unfortunately they say they are on back order and have no idea when they will get one. Mine also used to be worse in the morning and when cold but after 3 months it does it all of the time. I have contacted GM directly and they did nothing.
