Wild custom GMC Hummer EV perfectly captures the spirit of its ICE predecessor with some over-the-top style.

By now, it’s pretty clear that all-electric vehicles will one day render ICE a thing of the past, much like the steam engine and many other inventions that have emerged throughout history. That’s a hot topic for now, however, and one that will be continue to be debated for years. Regardless, there are already a few cool EVs out there on the market, perhaps none cooler than the GMC Hummer EV, a reborn classic that has more enthusiast appeal than the average battery-powered ride. And that makes it the perfect candidate for some upgrades, too.

That’s precisely what SoFlo Customs – a shop that made a name for itself building wild, over-the-top Jeep Wranglers, Ford Broncos, and various other rides – has done here by creating a lifted, military-style GMC Hummer EV. Dubbed the “Strikeforce,” this pickup has been coated in a matte Army Green Kevlar exterior shell, giving it a unique look that also pays homage to those that have served or are currently serving our country.

From there, Strikeforce gets a four-inch lift, new 20-inch wheels, and beefy 38-inch tires to take full advantage of its extra altitude. Throw in a custom, diamond-stitched leather interior, and you’ve got a Hummer unlike any other – as well as an all-electric version that carries on the opulent nature that brand became famous for. However, SoFlo isn’t done tinkering with the Hummer EV just yet – in fact, it has plans to add a windshield Guardian to armor the truck’s front glass, a slantback-top that fits over the bed, as well as a push bar. In the meantime, the starting price for this beastly machine comes in at $219,999.

“I couldn’t be more proud to introduce our version of the baddest factory truck on the planet – the Hummer EV,””said Joseph Ghattas, owner, engineer, and head designer of South Florida Customs and its sister company, Apocalypse Manufacturing. “While there is nothing that quite sounds like a freshly dropped Hemi Hellcat in one of our Jeeps, this Hummer EV delivers steering-wheel clenching power to unprecedented levels. It was such a fun project that we have already ordered a second and third Hummer EV to continue our Strikeforce conversions.”
