The Hulk Never Looked so Good

When most of us hear the name “Hulk”, we immediately think of an over sized mutant that smashes walls and flings army tanks like we do a basketball, but this Hulk’s only super-power is to go fast—very, very fast.

Say hello to this rather green 1967 Chevy Nova, and although its looks are far from ordinary, it’s the absolute bonkers engine bay that will literally blow you away. That’s because this 3,350 lbs all-steel monster produces an equally bonkers 2,500 horsepower out of its 632 ci turbocharged engine.

You may think that packing nearly four times the horsepower of a Corvette Z06 would give you a gargantuan advantage at the drag strip, and while that may be true, it’s an equally massive task to set up the car’s components to behave properly, as Hulk’s owner Matt Frost explains throughout the video.

It took over four months and I’m sure many, many thousands of dollars to get the Hulk to behave as it should, which is quite funny considering all it has to do is go straight.

Thumbs up to all the dreamers out there that continuously dump Hulk-sized amounts of time and money into things, all for the sake of happiness! But, what do you think, is 2,500 horsepower enough—or no such thing?

Let us know what you think in the forum!
