If you go to any car show in the midwest during the summer, you’ll notice that Corvettes are a dime a dozen. However, there is the occasional one that catches the eye as being unique or rare. That’s the case with this 1969 Corvette L88 Convertible, and it’s looking for a good home.

Being auctioned off in Scottsdale last this month, this Corvette is one of just 116 that were made in ’69. It was sold to a wealthy businessman in Kentucky, who ended up not taking delivery of the car. Eventually, the car was handed around and then meticulously restored to the condition you see it in.

The L88 engine makes 430 horsepower, and has a 4-speed transmission. All of the paperwork is included, including binders full of details of the 5,100 hours that it took restoring the car to the original condition.

There is currently no estimated selling price, but be sure to check out the Barrett-Jackson 45th anniversary event in Scottsdale between the 23rd and 31st.
