2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel

Do you happen to be an owner of a Chevrolet Corvette? Maybe you have the track-centric Z06 version that makes 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque? If you do, and you’re looking for something that you can haul your car back and forth to the racetrack, look no further than the Chevrolet Colorado diesel!

During the recent press media launch of the Colorado Diesel, General Motors had one of the trucks attached to a trailer. On that trailer was a shiny-new Z06 Corvette, painted red to match the color of the Colorado. While it’s not what most people will tow with the Colorado, it was a cool display.

The Colorado Diesel, in 4×4 guise, can town 7.600 pounds of weight. That diesel truck also is the only version of the Colorado that comes with an integrated trailer brake controller. It’s clear that Chevrolet thinks the Colorado owners are going to work more than they are going to off-road.

But if they do want to off-road, the Colorado Diesel is available in Z71 Trail Boss trim, with a light bar and everything. Check out the gallery and let us know what you think in the forums!
