Default 1990 c1500 Door hinge help!

Hello new user here and new owner of my recently late fathers c1500 and my conquest to restore this beat up girl. Ill cut right to it, My driver door is sagging, I replaced the door hinge pins with some doorman parts (38416 i believe) but door still sags. I assume it is due to the egging of the hole on top hinge. When I pick up on the door when its wide open, the top section definitely still has play. Due to covid, I cant afford the expenses of getting new hinges or hiring someone with welding experience to just weld that hole up and re-drill it. What really are my options? Could JB weld work? If needed I can take some pics and upload, I'm not really sure the hole is egged out enough to cause such sag. Im not really car savy in terms of repair, but Im since inheriting this truck I find myself reading alot and learning alot. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks - Zaine

the metal just fatigues with age. The options are to do some metal fab work on the door to bring it back into shape, or try to find a good door at the junkyard. Or accept that you got a good deal on a beat up car, live with it, and save up money for another.

Welcome from Florida. If it still sags after putting new pins and bushings, you can get oversize bushings and drill the hole in the hinge a little bigger and that should work.
