Default 1992 Cheyenne WT 4.3L 5 Speed Manual Swap

I just picked up a super clean WT 4.3L 5 speed swap. I’m new to the Chevy truck scene, spent my 20s wasting time with old Porsches. Is it possible to bolt a 305 or a 350 straight to my Bell housing, or is the swap more trouble than it’s worth?

If you swap do it for a 350.The 4.3 is a good motor, lots of torque, but unless you intend to tow, you might want to keep the 4.3 liter. The 305 isn't all that powerful compared to the 5.7 liter/350. Yes, that will bolt up.as he 4.3 is just a 350 with two cylinders gone.
