Default 1992 k1500 wont crank....

cant get my 1992 k1500 blazer to crank over.I have replaced both distributor and rotor and ignition coil.It fired up then I heard a winding sound coming from rotor, took off and reinstalled.could not get to fire back up, Any help with this.thinking it could be the wiring harness.

Did it start before you replaced the rotor and distributor?

no at first thought the thing was out of gas.put gas in still no crank so I started to play with wire that goes to distributor to ignition coil and it started, that lead me to believe that the rotor and distributor were bad.so I replaced them and it stared but still a little hesitation, went and bought ignition coil.Started again ran a little then quit...

I think you may have a stripped distributor gear.

Take off the lid on the air cleaner and make sure you are getting fuel. If not. the electric fuel pump might be the problem.
