Did you get your truck going already or are you still working on it? Just wondering.

Hello, sir:

Here are a couple of YouTube web links for testing your ignition coil. The first video is short and he uses an LED light he bought probably at Mouser or DigiKey. You can use a GOOD quality (more expensive Fluke or an OTC) digital multimeter instead. The 12 volt source he uses is not described but you can use a benchtop small tractor/riding mower battery or a well charged spare car battery to test the ignition coil. You can get a small riding mower battery at NAPA or other auto parts store. They come in very handy for benchtop electrical testing of 12 volt items.

The second video is more detailed and he does provide electrical values for you, probably a more useful video to be thorough in your testing.

Don't burn your truck. I know firsthand how frustrating this type of electrical problem can feel. Be patient and you will get it fixed.

So I have power to all my fuses. Also power in the one pink wire on the plug that gets plugged in 2nd but not in the first. Even if I turn in over. No power to new coil and like-new distributor. Help please
