Default Still No Spark. Stumped... 1990/g20

Working on a 1990 g20 (v8 350 5.7L) - Van not starting due to no spark reaching plugs.

Replaced the ignition coil and distributor cap/rotor and still no spark.
Have tested a plug line coming from distributor with fresh plug near a ground, no spark. Also tested with an actual spark Plug tester (still no flashing).
There is power getting to the new ignition coil when key turned to on position. Power (from IC) is making it to the center input nub that feeds the dist cap.
Took the dist cover off and cranked the engine.. rotor spins.
What am i missing here?
Thanks -

Figured it out so I'll answer my own question here for future generations. It was the Engine Control Module which is mounted to the Distributor.

Well in my case it was the Engine Control module which was attached to the distributor. The old one was faulty. If yours is working then work your way up the chain. I'd test the ignition coil and see if there's spark coming from it. This goes to the distributor and rotor. so if you have spark at the coil make sure your distributor is dishing out the electricity by pulling a plug wire and checking for a spark. if that's working then maybe you're not getting fuel... man there's a lot it could be when you don't give any details to what you have ruled out or what exactly is going on. did you check all fuses and relays? Start there if you haven't...
