Question 1994 Chevy K1500 5.7 wiring coil to distributor

94 chevy control module

can anyone confirm that the (2 pin) control module cable to the Black (2 pin) coil connector is a stand alone cable?
it does not seem the be connected to the wiring harness, and has gone missing

That should be a TBi and yes, I'm old and I think I remember it being a short stand alone cable.
Should be 2 plugs (connectors) at the coil
Single 12volt wire in one (unless you have a factory tach)
2 wires to the distributor in the other - stand alone (?)

also, these pictures show a 4 and 6 cylinder wiring but the 4 cylinder (2.5L) diagram shows the 2 connectors I am talking about (upper left)
