Painting is a very delicate job. There are a lot of things to consider. I am Not a professional painter but have painted some as a hobby. If you have painted before, than you should know all the basics, like type of sandpaper to use, primer, paint, and finally the type of clear you need. If you are going to do a complete job, get a gallon of primer and a gallon of paint. That should cover it all. Depending on how many coats of clear you are going to shoot, you may also need a gallon of clear. Use wet/dry sandpaper. You don't have to sand all the way down to bare metal ( I did) but get the panels nice and smooth, with no shiny spots showing at all. Use a base coat/clear coat system. I thinks its the best way to go. Hope this will get you started .
