I'm trying to decide still which way to go on a rebuild of my C1500 Suburban's 5.7 TBI. I want to use it for some vacation travel. We may even get a small travel trailer to tow behind.
Looking at a 383 stroker build. Anyone done this? I think I might find a rebuildable vortec shortblock for starters. Build it on the side and swap my old engine out.
I know there's not many who contribute on here, but I wanted to throw this out there and learn about pitfalls.
