Default 4l60 to 4l80e conversion info ?

Hey. I'm looking to put a 4l80e in to where a 4l60 was. I know I'll need a controller. And to move back the crossmember. But what I'm wondering is if I use the tranny. Transfercase. And both driveshafts from the doner 97 Will it all fit together or would i still have to have the driveshafts shortened and stretched ? Or would the other driveshafts even fit on the Ujoint ends out of the 97 doner ? . Thank you for any info

Thr rear drive shaft will depend on the styles of the trucks, longbed/shortbed etc. Front should be fine. You will likely need conversion ujoints.

they are the same combo. Regular cab long bed. Only the one I'm putting the 4l80e in is a halfton and the doner with the 4l80e is a 1 ton pickup
