I got a 89 c1500 4x4. I recently put a new 350 small block in it. I had to tow it to Florida so I pulled the drive shaft and lost my fluid. I added about 5 quarts when I got back and ran it in idol and put about 4 more in there. I never put fluid in a chevy truck before this is my first one so i wasn't sure if 9 quarts was rite or not. But now it only drives in 4x4 low and barley accelerates in 4x4 high or 2x4 and now doesn't go in reverse either. The other day I had about 5 quarts in it and it drove all day. They next day I tried to drive it and it didn't accelerate well so I added 4 more quarts and now all those other problems happened
