Thanks. I found this photo on another truck forum. It looks to me there are clips on 3 sides. It does appear there is a clip up against the fire wall. Its laying on its side because the clip for the plug is on top when its in the wiper motor.. What do you see?

Yes - I already told you I thought a clip was up against the firewall. I honestly think you can remove the motor in about 10 minutes, by following the steps I see in my Chilton book, then you can access that 3rd clip, if that is the way you decide to go. Unless you can come up from underneath and pop it out with a screwdriver somehow?

Sorry. I missed that.
Let me tell you something brother. Absolutely nothing takes me 10 minutes to do. It takes me longer than that just to sort through and find the tools I need.
I was at a garage sale once and this place was selling a bunch of old tools. Odds and ends to the average guy. I found a bucket full of sockets. I sorted through them, and I bought every 10mm socket they had. I ended up with 8 of them. I might have 20 now and its made getting things done much easier.
The last time I needed to yank the wiper arms, the clip mechanism that holds them tight just feel apart.
Every job has unexpected surprises for me. Pulling the motor is where Im headed. This truck is one of 3 vehicles we have so im really in no hurry..
I hope this info helps some other forum members.
