Default 89 Scottsdale

I have an 89 Scottsdale, SOLID TRUCK but my cluster needs to be rebuild. All the gauges work, but when I turn on lights in the evening, all the gauges go out of whack and my odometer are a broke. Is there a place that I can send it to get it rebuilt and how much am I looking at?

I've used Hamp's Speedometer Repair in Georgia twice when I lived there and have been happy with the results. you could give them a call and get a repair quote.

The cluster may need repair, but this sounds more like either a short in the illumination circuit or possibly the alternator is weak and can’t keep up with the electrical load when the lights are turned on.

The diagram below shows the power and ground feeds for the cluster - they are marked with red. I can’t recall which ignition feed is for the lights but you can at least test for a short or weak voltage from the alternator with the lights on.
