Default 96 to 98 or newer swap

Ok I've been building this truck ever since I bought it. Things I've done are 411 swap, full float 3.73 g80 locker, 3500 rear suspension, 2500 front brakes, spindles, and bearings, lugnut 4x4 disc brake conversion, airlift load leveling airbags. Probably more that I'm forgetting. I am a professional mechanic and own my own shop. I've been mulling it over in my head for a while since I did the 411 pcm swap, about putting a 98 or newer abs module in the truck so I can get the speedo adjusted right. From my experience you were able to adjust tire size from 98 and up. But 97 or less you couldn't. I figure as long as I source a 98 abs module and part of the harness, I could wire it and make it work to take the tire adjustment from the tune. I was wondering if anyone has ever done this?
