My 97 1500 was starting fine in the morning( plugged in for cold nights) but if you drive it somewhere and shut it off it will not start again. It will crack, and the fuel pump will cycle. This morning (4°C not plugged in) the truck would crank but not start. Heard the fuel pump and checked for spark( and it has spark). Put the battery charger on it as the battery went low from my dad trying to start for so long, left it for an hour and it started right up. Any help would be appreciated. Can't afford to just throw money at it.

 

gotta check fuel pressure and injector signal. might be a sensor but you might be able to pull a code (doubt it but you could try)
