Default 98 K1500 350 to 383 stroker

Hello, I'm thinking about building my truck as a nice street/ tow rig. I want to do a 383 conversation on it, but don't know about the injectors, heads, cam, and pistons to get the desired power effect. This will be my daily driver and an occasional towing a vehicle or trailer. I want a little lope with everything computer compliant. Thanks in advance for any information all can share with me.

I have limited knowledge about a swap like this. A 383 and a 350 have the same block. So motor mounts are the same. I’ve never looked into buying a 383 on the crate. I did buy a bad *** 75 k20 with a 450hp 383 in it. Off a farm. Paid $60 and bought it from the lady whose husband used to own it before he passed. I thought it was a 350. I sold the truck, didn’t bother getting it running. Got a text from the guy who bought it. Truck had a huge cam and the motor had freshly been built back in 2008 when the truck was parked. Anyway, I don’t think they make direct injected 383s. You’d probably have to run a carb, or a EFI system. Should be a fairly easy swap tho since the external parts are so similar to a 350.
