Default Building a 350

Hey everyone I got a 350 block that me and my dad are going to build together.. We have nothing to put it in as of now so we are in no hurry to race through it. We would like to build a high powered motor. I have no clue what good brands to go through or exactly what all parts I should go with. Any help from anyone would be great.

What fun you and your Dad are going to have, working together on your ride !

It's hard to advise you at this point. You need to decide just how powerful you want to make it, and understand that getting there takes money. I'd suggest a general overhaul of the Engine (breakdown/vat/cam bearings) and get the lower end freshened up first. Then you can decide what you want to add (pistons/cam/heads) from there.
