Default Assumed Electrical Issue

Hey all,

I have a 1990 k2500

Today I was on the highway and all of a sudden my electrical went out. Everything turned off from headlights to radio. The truck acted like it had stalled. I lost power to the engine (maybe fuel pump? Maybe it had to do with the fact that I was on cruise control. I think even after I hit the pedal I was still not getting any gas though.). It happened when I hit a bump. Everything came back on after about 2 seconds, but then the same thing happened about 2 or 3 times through a span of about 30 seconds. After this I was able to make the entire 30 minute drive home with no further problems. The only thing I can think of is a ground connection. I don't where my grounds are though, and I never though just one ground could turn everything off. Any suggestions?

battery fed fuseable links or ignition switch comes to my mind. the fault will have to be active to perform any testing to verify the problem.

same thing happened to my 94. it was the fusible links located on battery cable. i just bypassed them and it was fine after that. you can try just moving battery cable around, it may start and run after that,if it does, its your fusible link.
