Default Brake lines again...

I am going to replace the passenger side rear brake line on my 98 GMC 1500 4X4. What size line do I need 3/16 or 1/4 ?

Regards,
Junk

Usually no answer is because it's not known. Given it's a truck, I'd say the larger line is what is used.

I measured the length 40" is an aprox. length If it's a bit too long I can adjust in the bend that goes over the rear end housing. I don't want to remove the old line before hand so as not to loose too much fluid. Right now it's a slow dip, if I remove the line it will be a major leak.
