it is a 91 chev 1500 it says Silverado but i am not sure.it has a 5 spd manual 4x4 that needs an engine. the old engine had two blown head gaskets and it sat for two years getting parts robbed off of it. it also needs a bed. i started to rebuild the engine. i put two head gaskets on it and everything is replaced except the main bearings and one of the brackets upfront for the a/c. the old one was broken from overtightening i got the new used bracket but i am missing a bolt. the previous owner drove it in the yard and parked it then started robbing parts. i only paid 50 bucks for it, i will see what kind of bargain it is. i still have to move it sooner rather than later. oh yeah the driver side mirror is broke off as well.

 

Sounds like it is worth $50. How bad is the rust on the body?

 

no rust and no dents and aside from a little dust there is no interior damage.

that's what i figured i got all the rod bearings replaced and most of the mains. the oil pump isn't bad but i am going to replace it anyway, it is cheap insurance. maybe this spring i will pull the engine and rebuild the whole thing or sell it like it is.
