Default A/C control panel

I am now on my 4th A/C control panel. At $100 a pop, I'm getting tired of replacing them. Should I replace the wiring harness? If so, where can I get one?

Any input or ideas are welcome!!

is it melting the connection or what?
if its melting it this can be due to a poor connection and you should replace the pigtail also

No. It will work fine for several months. Then, the damper will get flakey...start shifting from straight to heater to defrost on its own. Three or four days later, the a/c will work at times. Eventually, the a/c will quit working and the damper will go to my feet and stay there.
