Default Cranks. No start.

1995 Chevy 4x4 350
My truck ran fine until I parked in my back yard to move lumber. After moving lumber, motor would turn over but not ignite. A friend and I determined that it is not getting fire to the plugs. We can hear fuel pump working. It may need a coil pack, but we wanted to fist determine if a fuse was causing problem. Is there a fuse somewhere that control ignition? I have a worthless Chilton manual. HELP!

Yes. ENG or IGN I think. Might as well check them all with a meter.

Assuming this is throttle body, try pouring a small amount of fuel in the throat, see if it fires/runs briefly. Report back

Default Cranks. No start.

Installed new coil, dist cap and rotor but I am not getting fire to plugs. I have 12+ volts going to coil. What could be wrong?

Please describe what led you to changing these parts - sudden no start? Intermittent problem?? Gradual decline in how it ran???
Thanks!

Truck was parked, for about a week, in my back yard, with bed full of lumber to perform some home remodeling. Finishing with my home, I was going to relocate my truck to my driveway. It would crank but not ignite. I poured a little gas into the throttle-body, Yet it still would not ignite. A friend and I pulled #1 plug wire and ground it to block to check for fire. It was not sparking. We suspected coil, but since the truck was old, we replaced coil, dist cap and inside rotor (to be sure). It still would not ignite. It is possible that I incorrectly reconnected plug wires, but I would think at least one would fire. My next step is to test for coil high voltage, before I examine plug wiring.
