It seems like that it would produce a check engine light to come on.

 

My "93 is on it's 3rd or 4th ICM, never got a light or a code. (360k miles)

 

I have changed coil, dist cap and rotor, and distributor control module. Truck started one time after new coil, dist and rotor installed, but then wouldn't ignite. So, I replaced dist control module but still will not ignite. It Turns over but no igniting. I cannot see any bad fuses, but I am about ready to replace all the fuses, just to be sure. Is there a fuse especially on controlling ignition? Truck is broken down in back yard with bed full of rotten wood that I need to dispose. Wife getting really upset.. Help!!!

 

Need ASAP to trace wiring issues related to starting engine.

Weird!!!!! Starter will crank but sometimes motor will not ignite. I am at my whit's end. I have replaced distributor control module, coil, Dist cap and rotor. I wiggled ignition fuses. Nothing...I poured gas into throttle body after motor would not ignite. Still would not ignite. I believe possibly a rodent may have eaten insulation of wiring, but I would also think that this would cause a fuse to blow. No check engine light comes on. Any suggestions???

 

Please do not make multiple new threads for the same problem. Keep it all under one so we don't have to go hunting all over to see what you did.
